Medicii au avertizat-o să se oprească cât mai curând, dacă nu își dorește să moară. Era atât de slabă încât arăta ca un schelet ambulant și abia mai putea merge pentru că organismul ei epuizase toată energia în efortul de a o ține în viață.
Până ce nu au apărut și primele probleme de sănătate, Annie a crezut că este perfect normal să arate astfel, însă vizitele repetate le spital au făcut-o să își dea seama că nu este așa. Medicii au avertizat-o și chiar au diagnosticat-o cu anorexie, spunându-i că, dacă nu se oprește cât mai curând din a încerca să slăbească, va muri, citează Spynews.ro.

Însă în anul 2014 parcă o minune a avut loc, iar Annie a descoperit…ciocolata, iar asta i-a salvat viața!
A gustat puțin din dulcele râvnit de atât de multe tinere care sunt obsedate de controlul greutății, apoi s-a urcat pe cântar, a văzut că nu s-a îngrășat. Încurajată de acest lucru a început să aibă o dietă variată, un stil de viață sănătos, ba chiar să facă și sport.
Din fericire pentru ea, Annie a avut noroc. A reușit să revină la o greutate normală și să se simtă mult mai bine. Acum are o dietă sănătoasă, ideală pentru vârsta ei și arată foarte bine.
Între timp și-a mărit sânii printr-un implant mamar, are un iubit care o face fericită și se simte foarte bine în pielea ei.
